ICED -  International view

ICED's office and the staffs

- Full name of ICED: International Consultancy and Educational Development Centre.

- ICED was established based on Decision no. 217/QD/KHVN of Vietnam Assosiation for Promoting and Supporting Education Development – VIPASED. VIPASED is a organisation which has activities and development in 61 provinces on nation-wide scale. The Assosiation’s task is to coodinate with other organisations to implement socialized education to build a learning society, with a view to raising public knowledge, human resources training, talent training, contributing to serve the cause of national industrialization and modernization. VIPASED’s leaders board:

+ General Vo Nguyen Giap - Honorary President

+ Mr Vu Oanh, Chairman – President – Former Member of Political Bureau – Vietnam Communist Party.

+ Mr Tran Xuan Nhi- Vice President – Former Deputy Minister of Education and Training (MOET).

+ Mr Doan Duy Thanh – Vice President - Former President of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI)

+ Mr Nguyen Van Hanh – Vice President – Former Head of Delegation of National Assembly.

- ICED has the permission by Ministry of Education & Training and implemented under the management and conduct of Ministry of Education & Training in the field of consulting students study overseas.

- ICED’s key activities and tasks:

+ Consulting on study- abroad programs

+ Organising education fair and exhibition on introduction to the coutries’ educations

+ Establishing world-wide education network and developing models

+ Organising study tours for staffs and teachers development

- ICED is operated by specialists who have more than 10 years working experience in consulting and enrolling students into overseas programs. These speacialists have been trained and professional certified through many Professional Consultancy courses organised by various Embassies.

- ICED is a prestigious overseas consultancy office to Vietnamese students as well as to other countries’s Embassies and Schools

- The Consulting Section is managed by Mrs. Binh (Le Thi Yen Binh) who is:

+ Working at the National Institute of Education Development (NIED), former Director of NIED’s Study abroad Program, and has more than 13 years working experience in this field.

+ Deputy General secretary of Vietnam’s International Study Consultancy Association- VIECA.

- ICED has been consulting free of charge on self-funding and scholarship overseas study programs in a scientific method and appropriate for pupils and students at all education levels.

- ICED is a member of VIECA (Vietnam’s International Study Consultancy Association ), which cooperate with more than 200 schools from 30 different countries such as: England, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, China, France, Holland, Russia, USA, Thailand, Poland, Finland, India, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.

- ICED is the representative of many Universities, Colleges, Technical Schools and High Schools all over the world: England, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, China, France, Holland, Russia, USA, Thailand, India, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Japan and Taiwan. We have helped many Vietnamese pupils and students to go to study overseas both on short-term and long-term courses, either on scholarships or self-funding finance.

- ICED helps Vietnamese students to study abroad both on scholarships or self-funding finance with various programs: Foreign Languages, High School, College, Vocational, Foundation Courses-A level, Bachelor, Master, Study, Cultural Exchange for secondary students in America, Canada, Australia,Germany and UK, English Teaching Training, English Summer Camp for secondary students in UK, Canada, Australia, Newzealand, Singapore, etc.

1/- The exactness of ICED’s consultance express in 3 issues as followed:

a. All kind of fees based on the Letters of schools sent through email or fax therefore, it is fixed and can not be changed.
b. Finance : clear, exact and reasonable.
+ Consultance service fees which is reasonable and separeted with another fees and the consultance service fees will be discussed with parents from the beginning.
+ Tuition fees, fees for accomodation, insurance fees, ...(including all the fees that the students have to send to the schools based on the direct faxes from schools abroad). Parents will directly transfer money through the bank to schools or ICED will help to transfer in case students’ parents required.
+ ICED will only charge service fees whenever the students’ visa are approved.
c. Organising the talks/ meeting between representatives from abroad schools with the students’ parents.

WHAT ICED CAN HELP STUDENTS WISHING TO STUDY OVERSEAS?

1/ -  ICED provides free information about overseas study, schoolarship from various countries exactly and scientifically that meets students’ desire and qualifications.

2/ ICED provides useful and necessary information regarding choosing a perfect agent for your overseas study plan.
 
3/ - ICED will help students to select the courses, schools,… which are suitable with your education level, family’s finance status, your character as well as your health.
 
4/ - ICED will help you successfully register to study abroad in any country that you choose.
 
5/ - ICED will counsel the student to have exact and detailed information of the overseas institution, accommodation, living and learning conditions, as well as be the bridge between the student and host family and the school where the student is staying and studying.
     
6/ - ICED recommend students to join appropriate English courses (IELTS Preparation, TOEFL Preparation, Pre-IELTS Language Study skills , General English Courses, etc ...), French, German, Chinese and Japanese Language courses that help you gain sufficient English language skills to pass the Visa Office‘s interview, meet the criteria required by the school that you are applying for. These will come in handy when you are studying abroad.
                                       
7/ - We enrol high school pupils who have good learning capacity and good English language skills for cultural exchange programs organised yearly by the Development Assistance Fund of the USA, Canada, and England with negligible fee, just about one fifth of self-charge study abroad expenditure or even lower (Applying time: from 1st December of the previous year to 15th January the following year).
 
8/ - Entertainment and learning English programs every summer in England, Australia and Singapore (Applying time: from 1st May to 20th May.)
 
9/ - Annual  programs on improving IQ, English, Maths in English, Guide- to- Interview for overseas students which will help them to get full scholarship in a High school in Singapore. This scholarship is provided for those students who have been assessed having a good study performance (execellent academic transcripts) through the 3 years: 7th, 8th and 9th and have averaged English mark of at least 8.0. Another scholarship provided by the Singapore Government funds from 80% to 100% school fees. Those students who have good academic performance for the 3 years: 10th, 11th and 12th and have averaged English mark of at least 8.0 can register for this scholarship (Registration priod at ICED: from November 1st to November 20th yearly).
 
10/ - ICED provides guidance to students completing the necessary procedures in a scientific and efficient way so that students can successfuly get their visas.

12/ - ICED Applies for Letter of Invitation and assist parents through the procedures to apply for a visa when they want to go to see their children overseas.
 
13/  - ICED provides orientation program for student’s overseas study plan through “Preparation for the exams” program and festival “Step to the world” which are organized annually for the students of 07 best high schools in Vietnam such as : Hanoi-Amsterdam, Chu Van An, Kim Lien, Tran Phu, Viet Duc, Lomonosov language gifted school and gifted school of University of Natural Science.

REQUIREMENTS FOR OVERSEAS STUDY STUDENTS

In order to get high rate of visa approval to study overseas by foreign embassies, students should meet the following requirements :

1. Good academic results and characteristics ( shown by academic transcripts, qualifications, etc.)

2. sufficient English language ability.

3. Have strong financial status to proove that you have sufficient money for your studying and living abroad.

4. Understand and have good, detailed study plan

5. Have good health to pass the health check by foreign doctors that are appointed by the foreign embassies
